Compliance Mode Shipment

SMP has developed a customized shipment mode feature called Compliance Mode Shipment, in response to Amazon's new Inbound Placement Fee.

This feature is designed to better suit your requirements. To use this feature, you need to ensure that your settings are configured on Seller Central as "Amazon Optimized Shipment Splits." You can check if this setting is updated by clicking on this link:

This feature can be accessed in step (7) after selecting your plan during the shipment creation process.

Compliance Mode

By selecting the compliance mode, you guarantee adherence to Amazon's regulations, thereby minimizing the risk of charges.

Here's how it works: if Amazon splits your shipment into five locations, you have the option to choose the main location to receive all your items. Our system then automatically chooses the SKU with the lowest quantity for the other four shipments, all of which must be shipped.

To optimize this process, it is recommended to include an additional ASIN/SKU in the shipment with a lower quantity or 1. This will ensure the extra item will be selected for the other shipments, thus reducing the necessity to send an excess of additional items. Please note that you cannot remove a SKU from a shipment. Failing to send the extra shipments may result in deleted and abandoned shipment fees.

How does this affect me?: When you create a shipment, it will include all of the items on it. However, you can still remove items in Step 4 of Seller Central.
